Case Study

EventTitans Powers HIPLEX 2026
at Hitex Hyderabad

HIPLEX 2026, organised by TAAPMA and billed as India's 3rd largest plastics expo, ran for four days across 25,000 sq. mt. of exhibition area at the Hitex Exhibition Centre in Hyderabad, under the theme "The Rise of Atmanirbhar & Viksit Bharat in Amrit Kaal — Invest to Transform". EventTitans supplied the visitor registration, badge printing and check-in technology behind the entrance.

A Working Show Floor, Not a Static One

HIPLEX is built around exhibitors covering every step of the plastics value chain, with machines running live on the floor. The 2026 edition added a recycling pavilion, structured B2B meetings and a programme of interactive concurrent activities alongside the exhibition itself.

That mix changes what the entrance has to do. A visitor is not just walking in — they are on the floor to see a machine run, then in a B2B meeting, then back out. EventTitans ran online registration, badge generation and gate check-in as a single system so the entrance never became the reason a scheduled meeting was missed.

Registration and Badging in One Flow

Visitors registered online ahead of the show and arrived holding a QR code. One scan at the counter matched the record, applied the correct visitor category and released the badge to the printer — no re-keying, and no separate lane for walk-ins, who were captured on the spot and printed through the same flow.

TBD METRICS: number of registration counters and printers deployed, average badge issue time, and peak-hour throughput on the busiest day. Supply measured figures only.

Organisers saw the same data live. Registration volume, category split and cumulative check-ins were on a real-time dashboard through all four days, so counter staffing followed the actual arrival pattern instead of a forecast.

Visitor Categories, Cleanly Separated

Trade visitors, exhibitor staff, delegates, press, organisers and contractors each need different floor access and a badge that shows it at a glance. EventTitans held every category as its own badge design and access rule, so floor staff could read entitlement off the badge without asking.

TBD: the exact badge category names used at HIPLEX 2026, and how many badges were issued in each.

Re-Entry Across Four Days

Buyers at a plastics expo come back. They see a machine demonstrated on day one and return on day two with a colleague or a specification. Badges stayed valid for the run of the show and re-entry was a single scan, keeping returning visitors out of the registration queue and the counters free for first-time arrivals.

Automated Visitor Communication

Confirmations, entry QR codes and show-day reminders went out over email and WhatsApp from the same platform holding the registration. Visitors arrived already holding the code that got them through the gate, which is the single biggest reason an entrance queue moves.

TBD: email and WhatsApp volumes sent for HIPLEX 2026, and delivery rate if available.

On-Ground Team

Software at an entrance is only as good as the people standing behind it. EventTitans staffed the registration counters, the badge printing stations and a help desk for the full run of the show, so a jammed printer or a mis-spelt name was fixed at the counter instead of escalating to the organising committee.

TBD: size of the EventTitans on-ground team at HIPLEX 2026, and which counters and stations it covered.

Looking Ahead

HIPLEX 2026 puts an industry-association expo on the EventTitans record alongside conferences, summits and multi-hall trade fairs. A 25,000 sq. mt. floor run by a member association has the same requirement as any other show — the entrance has to disappear as a problem — and that is what the registration, badging and check-in stack is built to do.
