Check-in, Badges & Certificates

Run the gate on event day: check attendees in by QR, scan or face recognition, watch live attendance, design and print badges, issue certificates and manage NFC passes.

1

Check an attendee in (Quick Check-in)

The on-site check-in console.

  1. Open the event's Quick Check-in screen and confirm the correct event name in the top chip (use ChangeDate for recurring events).
  2. Under Check In, pick the mode — Event, Date Wise, Topic Wise, Ticket Wise, Product Wise or Face Recognition.
  3. Optionally turn on Direct Check-in (Without Confirmation), Direct Print or Zebra Printer.
  4. Find the attendee by typing any field — name, phone, Email, Order Id, Attendee UniqueId or Company — or scan their QR.
  5. Review the result card (name, ticket type, status, verified pills, photo).
  6. Click Check-In & Print Badge to complete.
2

Scan a ticket QR and print the badge

Camera-based scanning at the gate.

  1. On Quick Check-in, click Scan QR & Print Badge and allow camera access.
  2. Point the attendee's ticket or badge QR at the camera — their card loads automatically.
  3. If the camera can't read it, use the manual Scan popup and type the code.
  4. Confirm the match, then click Check-In & Print Badge.
The check-in screen is mobile-responsive — your team can scan from a phone, and you can run multiple entry points at once.
3

Check in with face recognition

Hands-free entry for enrolled attendees.

  1. On Quick Check-in, set the Check In mode to Face Recognition.
  2. The face panel replaces the QR camera.
  3. Position the attendee's face in the frame to match enrolled face data.
  4. Confirm the matched attendee and complete check-in (badge prints if print toggles are on).
Face check-in matches against previously captured face data. If a face doesn't match, switch the mode back to Event and scan or search instead. Good lighting and a steady camera improve match rates.

Watch live attendance (Live Check-in Monitor)

See who's inside in real time.

  1. Open Live Check-in Monitor for the event.
  2. Read the status pills — Checked In, Overtime, Approaching, Within Time, No Limit.
  3. Scan the table — Attendee, Ticket/Slot, Checked In At, Time Elapsed, Slot Allowed, Status.
  4. Watch row colours: red = overtime, amber = approaching the limit, green = within time.
  5. To check someone out, click Checkout on their row and confirm. The page auto-refreshes each minute.
5

Design a badge template

Drag-and-drop badge designer.

  1. Go to Badge Template List and click New (or open Badging).
  2. Pick a size — e.g. 4×6 PDF Name Badges — or set a custom width/height, then Continue.
  3. Add elements from the left menu — attendee fields (Full Name, Company, Job title), QR/barcode, Image (logo), static text and shapes.
  4. Drag elements onto the canvas; toggle Front / Back to design both sides.
  5. Style text — font colour, style, type, size, case and alignment.
  6. Enter a Badge Name and click Continue to save.
7

Create a certificate of participation

Branded certificates with dynamic fields.

  1. Open Certificates List and click New.
  2. Click Upload your Certificate to add your artwork and crop it.
  3. Drag dynamic fields (like attendee name) and text onto the canvas.
  4. Style the text — font colour, style, type, size and alignment.
  5. Enter a Certificate Name and click Continue to save.
8

Manage NFC cards / event wallet

Cashless tap-to-pay passes.

  1. Open the NFC Cards screen to view issued cards for your company.
  2. Select a card to see its balance.
  3. Use Reload to top up a balance at the event.
  4. Set the offline spending allocation for when the POS is offline.
  5. If a card is lost or misused, Block it with a reason.

It checks the attendee in immediately on a match, skipping the confirmation step — best for fast-moving gates.

Event checks in for the whole event; Date Wise, Topic Wise, Ticket Wise and Product Wise restrict check-in to a specific day, session, ticket or add-on.

Use the manual entry box in the scan popup and type the code shown under the QR. You can also switch cameras if more than one is available.

Yes, a stable connection is recommended for real-time check-in, badge printing and the live monitor. For low-connectivity venues, plan a backup hotspot; NFC cards support an offline spending allocation for POS.

Yes — face recognition matches against previously captured face data for the event/company. You can always fall back to QR scan or search.

Yes — use the Front and Back buttons in the badge designer to lay out each side.

Attendee name fields, company and job title, plus a QR/barcode, static text and images such as your event or sponsor logo.

Not for Direct Print, which uses 4×6 inches on your default printer. The Zebra Printer option is for Zebra label printers.

The attendee has been inside longer than their slot's allowed minutes; the row turns red. “No Limit” means the ticket/slot has no time cap.

Yes. The attendee's QR pass (View QR) scans exactly the same as a printed badge, and they can download it to their phone.

Open the Unassigned Tickets panel on the check-in screen, select the ticket, enter the attendee's details (or Scan Bizcard) and save, then check them in.

No — printed badges are already produced; edits only apply to future prints.
